Summary

I work alongside Technical Analysts to provide R&D costing and tax advice to a broad range of clients. This involves a full end to end process from analysing costs, preparing calculations to the final submission of the claims to HMRC on behalf of my clients.

I have had over 15 years’ experience working in corporation tax. This has involved everything from managing the whole tax compliance cycle to UK tax planning. My in-house tax journey has led me to work for well-known London based companies in the financial services, software and property sector.

I then transitioned to R&D tax consultancy as I wanted to focus on a more specialised area where I would also have exposure to science and technology. I love using my tax knowledge and experience to help clients secure tax incentives. Working alongside technical consultants,  I am also constantly learning about innovation whether this be in software, engineering, manufacturing or healthcare.

Outside of work I enjoy taking weekend trips to escape to the country, visiting museums and fine dining in London restaurants. I also have a huge passion for history so like to explore heritage buildings in the UK.
